What an incredible, unforgettable day we had with Maurizio as a part of Scenic Wine Tours in Tuscany. We booked the private wine lover’s Tuscany wine tasting. Mau picked us up just down the street from our accommodations in Florence and was a native of the area. He had so much knowledge and history to share as we passed landmarks throughout the city and countryside. Not only did he share knowledge, but was also so personable, taking us to his annual birthday spot for lunch and was friends with all of the winemakers and tour guides at each spot. We felt so well taken care of and didn’t have to worry about a thing all day! From reservations to private tables to taking our pictures - everything was covered and we had the best time! We used Maurizio for several day trips around Florence and we had an amazing experience. The drivers are extremely courteous and professional, we really enjoyed our experience and both Danny and Mr Darbani were amazing. Maurizzio was absolutely spectacular! We had such a great time with him. He was very responsible, attentive, and made the entire experience enjoyable and easy.

He was also extremely knowledgeable about the history and explained everything in a way that was clear, simple, and very interesting without ever making it feel overwhelming. We especially appreciated how conscious he was of our time and how well he kept everything moving while still making sure we had a wonderful experience.

Maurizio was amazing! He was very communicative prior to our arrival in Italy. He checked in with us the day before our scheduled trip and showed up on time. Our ride was filled with historical information about Italy, education on the Chianti region and a wonderful trip! His amazing recommendations for our wineries, touring San Gimignano, and picturesque views were beyond perfection! We highly recommend and will definitely use him again when we return to Italy!
